A Little Book of Craftivism

I recently attended the book launch of Sarah Corbett’s ‘A Little Book of Craftivism’, as one of the crowdfunders via the website Indiegogo. This book is a great introduction to craftivism, as well as having ideas for projects to get involved with, and inspiration to keep you going! This form of activism enticed me as a shy quiet person I didn’t feel I wanted to go out, join groups and shout. That doesn’t mean that you have to always be alone, as there plenty of chances to meet other craftivists or start your own group and spread the word!

Two of the projects I have gotten involved with include ‘I’m a Piece’ and ‘Mini Protest Banner’.

This is just such a beautiful book, it is pocket sized, and has some lovely photos. It would also make a great gift for anyone, you don’t even have to be crafty to support them- they use the term ‘craptivist’!
