“I’m A Piece” for Save the Children

So I posted in January about my piece for the I’m a Piece campaign with Save the Children and the Craftivist Collective. Today they came to London and I went along to see them! It was really great to see, I took along my manager and a lady who works in my office and they loved it too and thought it was moving and inspiring. I spotted my piece “Food for Thought”! Josie Makes… A Piece of the Puzzle

I recently found out about the Craftivist Collective http://craftivist-collective.com/

Their activism is not loud, not aggressive, but makes a bold and lasting statement using craft.

Their Craftivist Jigsaw Project aims to create a giant jigsaw embroidered with provocative messages to support Save the Children’s Race Against Hunger Campaign. (Sign the petition!)

Anyone can join in by creating their own piece of the puzzle, details can be found here http://imapiece.fuse.ly/

I have created the piece below-

You can also help them to spread the word of Craftivism by donating to their Little Book of Craftivism fund http://www.indiegogo.com/littlebookofcraftivism

Get crafty!
