Thursday evening I met with a great bunch of people at the Crafty Catch Up Club, organised by @ladybirdlikes (and if you want to get involved look her up on instagram or facebook). It was downstairs at the Hawkhurst Vault tea shop in Brick Lane.
I didn’t stay too long because I’d had a long day and was feeling really sleepy! It was nice to meet some other crafty types and hear about what they do, and I’m looking forward to next time!!
Zoe (aka Ladybird Likes) really sweetly made everyone a goody bag, and @creightonschocolaterie bought a chocolate lucky cat for everyone too!
At the Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts Show at London Excel me and Joey found this amazing knitted scene to raise money for the RNLI – Life Boats. It was an amazing sea theme you could walk through the inside and it was like you were underwater but knitted! “Above and Below the Waves” http://www.all2knit.co.uk/page2.html
Yesterday I went to the Knitting and Stitching Show 2013 with my friends Joey (So Joey Creates) and Laura.
It was great to look around and get inspired to do things again, going to start making some jewellery and trying to do some drawing of clothes.
I bought this ring, looks like Marc Jacobs but was only £1!
Me and Joey traditionally get each others birthday presents there! So this is mine from Joey this year 🙂 Fabric tea cup!!
